Abstract
This paper reports a simple method of controlling chaos in piecewise l inear systems with switching nonlinearity. It achieves the objective b y targetting the unstable fixed points in every cycle. The control for ce is calculated by making use of the linear character of the system b etween switching instants. We show the suppression of chaos with the h elp of a simulated model.
