Abstract
Code period effects in direct sequence code division multiple access ( DS-CDMA) systems are investigated. It is shown that the improvement in the signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) achieved in the spread spectru m receiver is limited by a saturation value proportional to the code p eriod.
