Abstract
A pitch detection algorithm based on segmented autocorrelation is pres ented which exhibits improved rejection of formant interference and pi tch period multiple errors, when compared to the standard autocorrelat ion method [2]. In addition, the algorithm is computationally less int ensive than a standard autocorrelation of the same window length.
