Abstract
The review gives the systematic results on the generation methods, pro perties and use in organic synthesis of di-, tetra- and hexavalent sul phur compounds that might have positive charge on the sulphur atom suc h as the sulphenium, sulphonium and sulphoxonium (oxosulphonium) reage nts.
