Abstract
This paper considered the risk of introducing a virus disease on the O
.I.E. list A into Ireland, in particular foot-and-mouth disease (FMD),
swine vesicular disease (SVD), bluetongue (BT), rinderpest (RP), pest
e des petits ruminants (PPR), African horse sickness (AHS), sheep and
goat pox (capripox), lumpy skin disease (LSD), African swine fever (AS
F) and vesicular stomatitis (VS).
