Abstract
Essential thrombocythaemia is a myeloproliferative disorder which may transform to acute myeloid leukaemia, especially following therapy wit h alkylating agents or radioactive phosphorus. We describe the rare oc currence of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia transformation in a patient with known essential thrombocythaemia.
