Abstract
Measurements of electroconductivity sigma(T) for liquid PbxGa1-x alloy s under high excess pressure of argon gas are carried out in the entir e concentration-temperature range of the miscibility gap. The liquid-l iquid coexistence curve on the phase diagram of the Pb-Ga system is de termined on the basis of the sigma(T) measurements. The parameters of the critical point are determined to be (48 +/- 0.5) at% Pb and T-c = (909.0 +/- 1.6) K. The values of the critical index beta and the ampli tude B-0 are estimated as 0.34 +/- 0 03 and 2.1 +/- 0.2, respectively. The behaviour of the system in the vicinity of the critical point is analyzed in comparison with data available for other liquid mixtures w ith a miscibility gap.
