ARTERIAL VASCULAR ABNORMALITY ACCOMPANYING CEREBRAL CORTICAL DYSPLASIA

We report a case of dysplastic arterial vascular abnormality in a 32-y ear-old man with overlying neuronal cell migration disorder. MR images showed a thickened left insular cortex adjacent to the abnormal vascu lar network, These findings suggest the possibility of leptomeningeal damage during neuronal cell migration as the cause of the overlying va sculopathy. The true pathogenesis of these seemingly associated abnorm alities is unknown.
