Abstract
The luminescence spectroscopy was used to study NaI crystals grown in the iodine vapor atmosphere. It was determined that some emission cent res with luminescence peaks 310, 380 and 530 nm were formed. The corre lation between the emission band 380 nm and creation of molecular iodi ne centres have been shown. The influence of iodine on emission of dop ed impurity centres in crystals NaI(Tl) has been ascertained as a resu lt of studying the photo- and radioluminesce of these crystals.
