Abstract
We present a case of a young adult in whom acute subdural hemorrhage d eveloped immediately after embolization of a cerebral arteriovenous ma lformation with glue. Inadvertent venous outlet obstruction with glue was implicated in the production of the hemorrhage. Possible mechanism s of spread of blood to the subdural space are discussed. Awareness of the possibility of iatrogenic subdural hemorrhage is necessary before undertaking embolization procedures.
