WHAT IS NEW IN THE TREATMENT OF PSORIASIS

Drug development has opened new perspectives for the treatment of pati ents with psoriasis. Existing treatments have been improved in order t o maximize clinical efficacy and to minimize side-effects. Recently tw o new treatments have been introduced for routine treatment: cyclospor in and calcipotriol. Experimental treatments are in various phases of development. The aim of the present review is to highlight the most im portant new developments in the treatment of psoriasis.
