Kinetic luminescence spectroscopy was used to investigate the effect o
f ligand structure on the rate of photodegradation of compounds of Eu(
III) in polyethylene and polyvinylchloride films. It was established t
hat complexes of tribenzoylbenzoate of Eu(III) in polyethylene and n-t
erephthalate of Eu(III) in polyvinylchloride exhibit the highest photo
stability. It was shown that the rate of deterioration of luminescence
properties of photoreducing polymer films increases with a rise in th
e content of Eu(III) complex. In contrast, addition of stabilizer ethy
l-4-bis-cyclohexaamino-oligoethylene-sebacate, slows down deterioratio
n of luminescence.
