The structure of simultaneous and sequential interpenetrating networks
based on cross-linked poly-urethane and slightly cross-linked poly(bu
tyl methacrylate) was investigated. Relationship between kinetic and s
tructural characteristics of network formation was established. High r
eaction rates for the formation of components prevent microphase separ
ation and promote the formation of materials with widely variable cont
rast of their microphase structure.
