A study on the steady-state and transient-state photophysical behaviro
s of 1,5-diphenyl-3-naphthyl-2-pyrazoline compound has been undertaken
. The results obtained indicate that the compound TPP has stronger flu
orescence emission and solvatochromic effect. The fluorescence of the
compound TPP can be quenched by electron-donating and electron-withdra
wing quenchers. The systems of TPP/CCl4 and TPP/N,N-dimethyl-p-Toludin
e can be used as photosensitized initiating systems.
