Abstract
We have studied superfluid He-3-A textures by a mechanical method in t he very low temperature limit, T/T-c approximate to 0.14. The damping of a vibrating wire viscometer is affected by the structure of the l-v ector texture near the wire. The texture is disturbed by a violent mot ion of the wire. The relaxation of the texture, back to equilibrium, i s then observed through changes in the damping of the wire's motion.
