P. Rempp et E. Franta, NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN THE SYNTHESIS OF BLOCK AND GRAFT-COPOLYMERS VIA ANIONIC AND CATIONIC METHODS, Macromolecular symposia, 91, 1995, pp. 51-63
Ionic living polymerization methods are well suited for the synthesis
of macromolecules of known structure, molecular weight and composition
, and exhibiting low fluctuations in composition and in molecular weig
ht. They were the first to allow the synthesis of well characterized b
lock and graft copolymers. The present paper discusses a number of rec
ent developments concerning these syntheses based on anionic or cation
ic living polymerization.
