nd extracts from the black-tailed deer, Odocaileus hemionus columbianu
s, inhibited the growth of gram-positive bacteria and fungi. The bacte
ria, Propionibacterium acnes, and the fungi, Trichophyton mentagrophyt
es had a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 12.5 mu g/mL and 25
mu g/mL, respectively.
