Abstract
Ubiquitin; there is no doubt that ubiquitin is a ''lucky'' protein. It is lucky in many ways: lucky for scientific progress, lucky for biome dical scientists and lucky for life! If you have already done so, why don't you get lucky and look for a role of ubiquitin in your experimen tal system. As Acram Hershko has said ''there is plenty to go around'' ! (Previously quoted by Mayer et al. [1].).
