Angular momentum projection integrals arising from the coherent state
representation of bosonic spectrum generating algebras are evaluated u
sing analytical and algebraic methods. For the vibron model of diatomi
c molecules, a closed expression is derived by direct integration. For
the general case, the integral is evaluated as a 1/N expansion by exp
loiting the symmetries of the underlying boson system and making use o
f computer algebra.
