Abstract
Suppose w(s) = p(s)/q(s) is a real rational function, with p(s),q(s) p olynomials, This paper presents a test for the strict positive realnes s of w(.) expressed in terms of the values assumed by p(s),q(s) at a f inite set of points s = jw(i),i = o,...,N,w(o) = o and w(N) = infinity .
