H. Groothues et al., CHARGE-TRANSPORT AND MOLECULAR-DYNAMICS IN COLUMNAR STACKS OF LIQUID-CRYSTALLINE PHTHALOCYANINE DERIVATIVES, Advanced materials, 7(3), 1995, pp. 283-286
Communication: Broadband dielectric spectroscopy has been employed to
study the electric charge transport and molecular dynamics in columnar
stacks of liquid crystalline phthalocyanine derivatives, materials wh
ich are of interest as one-dimensional semiconductors or as photocondu
ctors. Three relaxation processes and a conductivity contribution have
been identified and it is concluded that the solid-to-liquid crystall
ine phase transition has no influence on the temperature dependence of
the conductivity.
