P. Karenlampi, EFFECT OF DISTRIBUTIONS OF FIBER PROPERTIES ON TENSILE-STRENGTH OF PAPER - A CLOSED-FORM THEORY, Journal of pulp and paper science, 21(4), 1995, pp. 138-143
Previous phenomenological theories relating properties of pulp fibres
to tensile strength of paper assume similarity of fibres. This is unre
alistic, especially when different kinds of pulps are blended into a p
aper. In this article, a theory on the effect of distributions of pulp
fibre properties on tensile strength is formulated.
