Abstract
Fatty acid lipid matrices are used in modified-release formulations. T heir effect on the incorporated drug results in a more or less prolong ed drug release. Using simultaneous thermal analysis. ATD-ATG, the aut hors show that the lipid matrices studied oxidize under hot air a lowe r temperature than the pure product in the presence of the solid-form drug whose fusion temperature exceeds 200 degrees C.
