Abstract
In this article the clinical uses of lasers in gastroenterology are re viewed. The endoscopic delivery of light for therapeutic as well as di agnostic purposes is discussed. Current research directions in the fie ld are also indicated where appropriate. (C) 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
