E. Kolakowska et al., EFFECT OF CALCINATION AND REDUCTION CONDITIONS ON ACTIVITY OF NICKEL-CATALYST FOR FATS HYDROGENATION, Przemysl Chemiczny, 74(2), 1995, pp. 62-64
There have been carried out studies on the effect of calcination and r
eduction conditions of dry catalytic mass (catalyst's precursor) on th
e activity of catalysts for fats hydrogenation. For selected condition
s of hydrogen load of catalyst and heating rate, process occurrence is
presented in form of relation between water vapor concentration and r
eduction ratio of nickel oxide, and temperature and time. It has been
found out that way and conditions of calcination and reduction of the
precursor determine activity of the catalyst. There is no, however, di
rect relation between activity and final degree of nickel oxide reduct
ion.
