Abstract
The two-body collision-induced fight scattering spectrum of UF, has ne ver been measured. Lineshape calculations through quantum mechanical m ethods have been used to predict a reasonable experimental spectrum at T= 295 K. In this calculations a (n, 6) Lennard-Jones intermolecular potential was used. Measured data for other octahedral molecules and m ixed octahedral-atom samples were used in the process and for comparis on.
