Abstract
Phloeospora irregularis is reported as an obligate parasite of Rhus pe ndulina from the Pretoria region, Transvaal, South Africa. The morphol ogy was studied with light microscopy, SEM and TEM. A Phoma sp, is des cribed as synanamorph. Variations in fungal morphology from that repor ted previously are described.
