Abstract
We describe a method for the detection of gangliosides on thin-layer c hromatography plates using enhanced chemiluminescence. In contrast to previously published colorimetric techniques, the use of chemiluminesc ence to detect antibody binding to gangliosides has increased sensitiv ity and simplicity. In addition, the use of chemiluminescence lacks th e hazards of radioactivity, and produces a permanent record.
