Abstract
The asymptotic and oscillatory behavior of solutions of second order d ifference equations with deviating argument of the form DELTA(a(n)DELT Ay(n)) + p(n)DELTAy(n) + q(n)f(y(sigma)(n + 1)) = 0 n = 0, 1,...is stu died. Examples are inserted to illustrate the results.
