Polypyrrole was deposited from solutions of NaClO4 and NaDBS, where DB
S is dodecylbenzenesulfonate, in aqueous solution and characterized by
voltammetry. It is found that the absence of the so-called 'double la
yer charging current' during cyclic voltammetry of the layers formed f
rom solutions with surfactant is not because of the order in morpholog
y of the layer, but irreversible incorporation of the surfactant anion
.
