Abstract
A sesquiterpene alcohol with a new rearranged pinguisane carbon skelet on, which is named a neo-pinguisane type, has been isolated from the e ther extract of the liverwort Dicranolejeuenea yoshinagana (Hatt.) Miz ut., together with two new pinguisane-type sesquiterpenoids and previo usly known deoxopinguisone and ptychanolide. Their structures were est ablished by spectroscopic means.
