We present art optical technique for measuring the contact angle made
by a liquid deposited on a substrate. Tills technique is bused on the
optical properties of a liquid edge. Its originality is that it enable
s a simultaneous and direct measurement of the dynamic contact angle a
nd the velocity of the liquid front. This method applies to transparen
t liquids and substrates.
