Abstract
The Cahn-Hilliard-Cook (CHC) theory with random phase approximation (R PA) for the time change in the structure factor in multicomponent poly mer systems is used to describe the dynamics of the early stage spinod al decomposition. Explicit expressions on the time change in the struc ture factor for the block copolymer/homopolymer mixture have been obta ined with the dynamics of microphase/macrophase separations of the mix ture presented in detail.
