Abstract
The boundary layer flow of a viscoelastic fluid (Walters' B model) pas t a stretching sheet is considered for investigation. The solution of the equation of motion is obtained using the power series method. The effects of the viscoelastic parameter k(1) on the flow have been inves tigated. it is also found that the effects of unsteadiness in the wall velocity and skin-friction are appreciable.
