DEVELOPMENT OF 2.4-GHZ LOW-POWER DATA COM MUNICATION-SYSTEM

In recent years, the needs for wireless communication have risen rapid ly due to the need to build free and intelligent communication systems on OA, FA, etc.Responding to these needs, the radio law was revised i n December of 1992, and the use of non licence low power data communic ation systems with the spread-spectrum technique at 2.4 GHz became pos sible. We have developed a 2.4 GHz low power data communication system with antennas. This paper describes its wireless scheme, circuit cons titution, basic specifications and in particular the characteristics o f its RF unit and omni-directional printed antenna. We have also devel oped a wireless POS system as one application of the systems.
