Abstract
It is shown that the width of a gamma-laser line can be measured exper imentally and the energy resolution is better as compared to the energ y resolution in the Mossbauer effect. The change of concentration alon g the laser medium (and with time) is calculated. The results show the possibilities for better utilization of the stored energy in the lase r medium as well as the possibilities for stronger emission in one of the directions.
