A theoretical approach to the problem of Mossbauer spectroscopy of mag
netic materials under strong radio-frequency excitation is outlined. T
he proposed version of the theory enables one to calculate both the ti
me-gated and time-averaged (ordinary) Mossbauer spectra The large-scal
e amplitude fields on nuclei are shown to result in essential alterati
ons of absorption spectra, particularly in the Rabi-frequency range. I
n our opinion, soft magnetic materials may be used for testing the rev
ealed theoretical results, and in perspective as gamma polarizers and
gamma shutters in the subtle experimental problems of gamma optics.
