Abstract
There is little written about normal calcification/ossification of the soft tissues and its differential diagnosis. We present an interestin g case of extensive dystrophic calcifications of the pelvic girdle ass ociated with chronic injection of Leritin(R) (anileridine phosphate). The classification and the differential diagnosis of soft tissue calci fications are discussed as well as the mechanism of drug-induced calci um deposits formation.
