Abstract
Investigations of the electrical strength of three-phase insulation sy stems with varying bundle constructions have been carried out. The num ber of subconductors in a bundle varied from 4 to 8. The interphase di stance varied from 2.8 to 6.2 m. Experimental tests have been carried out using switching impulses with varying relationships of positive an d negative polarity. It has been established that increasing the radiu s of a bundle and the number of subconductors in a bundle leads to a d ecrease in phase-to-phase breakdown voltage.
