The relationship between magnetic field energy and mechanical work is
determined using the energy conservation law in differential form. It
is shown that integral work is equal to the magnetic field energy incr
ease only when the current is constant during motion. The possibility
of obtaining a maximum value of the integral energy efficiency by mean
s of maintaining a constant magnetic field is proved. Practical recomm
endations are given for improving the integral mechanical work of elec
tromagnetic motors with shell-type magnetic systems. Copyright (C) 199
