Abstract
Experiments with Triton X-100 as a model surfactant were performed und er steady-state conditions, using deoxygenated solutions as well as th ose saturated with N2O, O-2 or N2O/O-2 mixtures. The Tritan X-100 deco mposition yield was dependent on the O-2 content of the irradiated sys tem. Oxygen promoted surfactant decomposition In aqueous solution cont aining only Triton X-100.
