Abstract
Silica-alumina catalysts with alumina contents ranging from 0 to 100 w t. % are prepared by following the conventional stepwise precipitation method. The effect of alumina content on the pore structure stability of these catalysts is investigated. The pore structure stability of S iO2-Al2O3 catalysts is attributed to the particle aggregate structure and to the mutual protective action of the particles of different phas es present in the catalysts.
