Abstract
The rotation problem of an orthotropic cylinder containing. (i) an iso tropic core and (ii) a rigid core is considered. The elastic constants and density are taken as a power function of the radial coordinate. A nalytical expressions for the components of the stress in different ca ses are obtained. Finally, the results are illustrated graphically.
