Abstract
In this paper we describe a project aimed at addressing the lack of te aching material in high performance computing. The Teaching and Learni ng Technology Programme involves producing courseware modules in hyper text format for students in computer science, as well as in mathematic s, engineering, the biological sciences and economics. We consider the educational aspects of constructing sound courseware and detail the a pproach we have taken.
