We report the kinematic viscosities and densities (at 298.1 K) of solu
tions of K2SO4, Na2SO4, KCl, NaCl, KNO3, or NaNO3 in (0.5 + 0.5) mol .
dm(-3) (K2CO3 + KHCO3) and (0.5 + 0.5) mol . dm(-3) (Na2CO3 + NaHCO3)
buffer at temperatures ranging from 293.1 to 323.1 K at 5 K intervals
. Total ionic strength ranged from 2.0 to 5.0 mol . dm(-3). The experi
mental viscosity data were satisfactorily correlated with the temperat
ure and/or solute concentration by means of empirical equations.
