Abstract
Most adolescents under the legal drinking age consume alcohol. For man y of them, their drinking patterns evolve into alcohol abuse and depen dence, Treatment of these adolescents must take into consideration the ir physical, psychological, and social development, Therefore, differe nt treatment approaches may be needed for adolescents than for adults.
