Abstract
Climatic droplet keratopathy (CDK) is characterized by a band-shaped p attern of subepithelial opacities and golden-yellow spherules. Recurre nce of this disease in corneal grafts has not been reported. We report two cases that developed recurrence of this disease in corneal grafts done for CDK, 31/2 years following lamellar penetrating keratoplasty and 6 years following penetrating keratoplasty. This illustrates the p ossibility of this degenerative disease to recur in a few years if aet iological factors are persistently present.
