TEACHING TUBERCULOSIS TODAY

A survey was conducted on teaching on tuberculosis in French Medical F aculties; on the undergraduate level, all the students receive an earl y teaching on tuberculosis, backed up for most of them by training cou rses in relevant clinical settings. Postgraduate courses and continuin g education sessions on tuberculosis are set up in every academic cent er, Physicians in respiratory medicine and in infectious diseases are both involved in the process. Control of quality and coverage of the s ubject could not be achieved by the present survey.
