Abstract
The effect of particle size and alloying with rare-earth elements on o xidation of aluminum-based aluminum-based powders was studied by metho ds of derivative differential thermal analysis of the change in the sp ecific surface and x-ray diffraction analysis. It is shown that the ch aracter of oxidation is determined by processes occurring in the barri er layer of interaction products on the particle surface.
