Abstract
A 33-year-old woman of borderline normal intelligence had catamenial a bsence status epilepticus and absences since early teens, diagnosed as temporal lobe epilepsy. Clinical and video-EEG evaluation documented that she suffers from a rare epileptic condition manifested with fixat ion-off sensitivity, absences, absence status, and infrequent generali zed tonic-clonic seizures.
